IELTS
IELTS is one of the world’s most popular English language tests. The International English Language Testing System is designed for people who plan to pursue higher education or migrate abroad. Last year alone, more than 2.3 million candidates took the exam worldwide.
IELTS evaluates all four key language skills — reading, writing, listening, and speaking — and is designed to reflect how English is used in real-life academic and professional environments.
International House offers a placement test and interview before the course begins. Successful candidates will join an intensive six-week preparation programme designed to help them achieve their target score.
TOEFL
The TOEFL exam is a mandatory requirement for international students who wish to continue their studies at university level, primarily in the United States and Canada. In addition, the TOEFL certificate is recognised by many institutions outside North America. Minimum score requirements vary depending on the university and the specific faculty or programme.
We offer a six-week intensive preparation course. The programme combines language development and practical training with exam practice and useful test-taking strategies. The course covers all sections of the exam to ensure you are fully prepared and able to achieve your target score.
National Exams
Preparation course for the National Exams of Georgia (University Entry Exams) in English language usually starts end of September and finishes 1 July of the following year. Young learners take a written test and an interview before the start. Our experienced and highly professional teachers make up the syllabus of the course and teaching/learning materials on the results of the placement test and an interview with the applicant. Lessons twice per week for two hours. We at International House notify parents of the student's progress and academic status on a monthly basis.
